Set up online payments

A booking is not real until it is paid. Online payments turn your website from a brochure into a booking machine: the guest pays while their intent is high, and the reservation confirms itself.

Install the Stripe app

Stayblox takes card payments through Stripe, the same processor behind millions of online businesses. Payments come as a free first-party app: install the Stripe app from the App Store in your dashboard, then follow the onboarding. Stripe will ask for your business details and the bank account where payouts should land. Identity checks are standard for payment providers, so have an ID and your bank details ready.

If you do not have a Stripe account yet, one is created during this flow. If you already have one, you connect it.

What guests see

Once connected, the booking flow on your website takes payment at the moment of booking. The guest picks dates, sees the full price, pays by card and gets an instant confirmation. There is no invoice email to wait for and nobody "getting back to you", so the guest never hits the pause where second thoughts creep in.

What you receive

Payments go to your Stripe account and pay out to your bank on Stripe's schedule. Stripe charges its standard card processing fee, which you see transparently in your Stripe dashboard. Stayblox adds nothing on top: 0% commission on every plan, on every booking, always.

Test it before a guest does

Make a real booking on your own site with your own card and watch it land: confirmation to the guest email, dates blocked on the calendar, payment visible in Stripe. Then refund yourself from Stripe. The whole check takes about ten minutes and proves the money actually reaches you.
