Install apps from the App Store

2 min read

Stayblox ships lean on purpose. The features every host needs are built in, and everything else lives in the App Store so you only add what your property actually uses.

What apps do

Apps plug into your existing account and work with the data already there: your calendar, rates, bookings and guests. Payments, pricing tools, review collection and more, without exports, spreadsheets or copy-paste between systems.

Installing one

Browse the App Store and open any app to see what it does, what it costs and what access it needs. Installation takes a click from there, and the app appears in your dashboard. Each app lists its own pricing on its page. Some are free, like the first-party Stripe payments app, others charge for what they add, like the channel manager.

Before installing, check the access the app requests. An app asking only for what it plausibly needs is a good sign. You can uninstall any app later and its access ends with it.

Start from the problem, not the catalogue

The best way to use the App Store is backwards: notice what eats your time each week, then look for the app that removes it. Two apps you use daily beat ten you installed on a curious afternoon.

If the app you need does not exist

The App Store is an open ecosystem built on the Stayblox developer platform. If you or your developer want to build something custom, the developer docs at dev.stayblox.com cover the GraphQL API, webhooks and how apps are published.
