Length of stay (LOS)

Length of stay (LOS) is simply how many nights a guest books in one reservation. A three-night booking has an LOS of three.

LOS matters because it drives both revenue and cost. Longer stays spread fixed costs like cleaning across more nights and cut the work of turning a unit over, which is why many hosts set minimum-stay rules or discount weekly and monthly bookings to encourage them.
